A tailor made holiday, tour or safari is basically a personal planning service. You tell us what you want ...

...(either in detail, or give us some parameters to work with), and then we arrange services to fit your wishes for your holiday, or advise you on improvements which we think you may want to consider.

When we begin to plan your experience with you:

• We narrow down your requirements so that we can design an outline of a suggested itinerary for you to consider.  This will usually come with an approximate costing.
• We usually ask that you let us have your names as they appear in your passports so that we can hold suitable flights on option for you – you would be under no obligation to take up these flights.  The reason for this is that flights are increasingly difficult to get to many places, and the sooner you hold a seat, the more reasonable the airfare usually is.
• We then work with you to fine tune the itinerary you’ve been sent. Anything is flexible at this stage – length, accommodation, date, services. Obviously this will have cost implications – either up or down.
• We place great store on building relationships and – after all – this is your holiday, and you should have the most say in the planning of it.
• As we get closer to what you want, we would then suggest that we provisionally reserve the services you are considering so that we know that they are available should you decide to book.  At this late stage you are still under no obligation.
• It is only once we have everything reserved that we can confirm the final and accurate cost to you. At this stage you still aren’t obligated!

When you decide to book with us:

• Once you are happy with the itinerary we will ask you to read our booking terms and conditions and complete a booking form. 
• On receipt of the booking form, we will confirm the bookings for the services you have agreed. If anything is not available, we will keep you informed and help you decide on your options at this point. 
• Once we’ve confirmed back to you, and we have received your deposit this becomes non-refundable and non-transferrable. 
• If not already arranged, we advise that you buy travel medical and cancellation insurance at this stage. This insurance is obligatory on African Odyssey Safari's holidays.
• You will get as much information as possible about your holiday.
• You can call us for help any time before you go – and while you are on holiday!
• Any final details will be sent to you a week or two before you go.
• When you land in Southern Africa we will have someone there to meet you and to hand you all of your documents such as a small bound copy of your itinerary, vouchers for all services and any air tickets which we have procured on your behalf.
